Seventeen-year-old Skylar Webber has spent her life believing she is a normal teenager in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood in Vancouver. However, everything changes when she and her foster siblings witness a violent confrontation—and draw the attention of Kain and Korban Rhossillian, two dangerously powerful brothers with secrets of their own.

When Skylar tries to defend her siblings, a single touch between her and Kain ignites a burning shock that neither can explain. When Kain discovers who Skylar truly is, he realizes their lives are tied by a fate older and deadlier than either of them can imagine.

Thrust into a tumultuous world of magick, mythical gods, warlocks, and vampyres, Skylar learns she is one of two long-lost Golden Children—god-like beings whose power could end a thousand-year-old war or unleash unimaginable darkness—and that the other Golden Child might be someone closer to her than she realized. Hunted by enemies who want to use her as a weapon, Skylar must rely on one person she’s not sure she can trust: Kain, heir to a powerful coven, a born leader and a lethal predator . . . and the only one who can keep her alive.

Burnt Gold, the first book in the Blood Feud Saga, is a sweeping, passionate love story about fate, vengeance, and the power of blood.
